What comes after passing
AWS certifications last three years. Recertifying means passing the current version of the exam, or a higher one in the same track, at full price. The 50 percent benefit voucher from your last pass applies.

Frequently asked questions
How much harder is SAP-C02 than the associate?
The questions are longer and the wrong answers are righter. Every option would work; you are choosing the best fit for constraints buried in a paragraph of requirements, across Organizations, multi-region networking and migration programmes.
How long are the questions really?
75 questions in 180 minutes sounds generous until stems run half a page. Reading stamina decides outcomes here more than on any other AWS exam, which is exactly what timed full-length practice trains.
Do I need the associate certification first?
No formal prerequisite exists. In practice the exam assumes everything SAA-C03 covers and then asks harder questions about it, so most people are better served passing the associate first.
