What a certification really costs, with every price sourced

The voucher is the number people quote. The total is the voucher, plus the retake if the first attempt does not go your way, plus whatever the vendor charges to keep the credential alive afterwards. Pick the exams you are planning and this adds them up, with a link to the vendor page behind every figure.

What to include

What this does and what it will not

Every price here is the vendor’s own published figure, read off the page linked beside it. Prices change without notice, and the link is what lets you check us rather than trust us.

It does not estimate how likely you are to fail. No vendor publishes a pass rate, so any expected-cost figure would be built on a number somebody made up. Budgeting a retake is a choice you make here, priced at the vendor’s own retake fee.

It does not turn renewal into a single number. Some vendors charge a maintenance fee, some want continuing education credits, some give you a free online assessment, and some make you sit the exam again. Each one is quoted the way that vendor states it.

If money is the obstacle rather than the arithmetic, who pays for certifications lists the employer, veteran and workforce programmes that fund them, with the same sourcing rule.

Then find out whether you are ready to spend it.

Practice written from the vendor's published objectives, with the page behind every answer quoted on the question.
