Amazon Web Services (AWS) states 65 (50 scored, 15 unscored) questions for MLS-C01, with a time limit of 180 minutes. That is about 2.8 minutes a question, including the time it takes to read the stem and the options.
The count is fixed, but the score is scaled rather than counted, so no fixed number of questions you can miss follows from it.
What the questions look like
Multiple choice and multiple response only. No simulations, no labs, and nothing to configure.
What passes
The passing score for MLS-C01 is 750 on a scale of 100 to 1000.
If you do not pass
A retake costs another $300.
