How much does Professional Cloud Architect cost?

Read the case studies before buying anything. They are free, they are linked from the exam guide, and a meaningful share of the exam is written against them. Any third-party course that names a different set of case studies is out of date, and that is a cheap test to run before spending money.

The architecture material is free and is the actual source. The Well-Architected Framework and the reference architectures are what the exam's preferred answers align with, and no paid course improves on reading them directly.

Spend trial credit only where reasoning is not enough. Most of this exam is judgement about requirements; the exception is the parts where you have never seen a service behave, and that is a targeted afternoon rather than a lab program.

No score report and no published passing score, so a failure returns a result and nothing else. On an exam this wide, that is the strongest argument for working the guide systematically rather than revising by feel.

Case study questions are where prepared candidates most often lose marks, because the answer has to fit the fictional company's stated constraints rather than being the best architecture in general. Between attempts, re-read each case study and write down its three binding constraints before looking at any practice question.

Professional Cloud Architect is valid for two years, and the renewal window opens 60 days before expiry.

Renewal means passing the applicable exam inside that window, with exam fees applying. Google also offers shorter renewal exams and learning-based renewal through Google Skills for certifications that support them.

The case studies change between guide versions, which makes a renewal genuine preparation rather than a formality: material you memorized for the version you first passed may name companies that no longer appear.

The post-pass discount code applies to a renewal attempt. Over four years, that is the difference between two full-price exams and one and a half.
