Download the official objectives from CompTIA and skim every line. The exam can only test what’s listed there, it’s the contract.
2. Weight your study toward Hardware and Network Troubleshooting and Hardware

3. Drill weak domains, then take a mock exam

How many questions are on the A+ Core 1 (220-1201) exam?
The exam has a maximum of 90 questions, a mix of multiple choice and performance-based questions, with 90 minutes to complete them. The passing score is 675 on a 100-900 scale.
Do I need A+ Core 1 before Core 2?
You can take the two exams in either order, but you need to pass both 220-1201 and 220-1202 to earn the A+ certification. Most candidates start with Core 1 because it covers hardware fundamentals.
