How many questions, and how long
Red Hat states hands-on lab tasks for EX200, with a time limit of 150 minutes.
Red Hat publishes no count, so there is no pace or miss budget to work out in advance.
What the questions look like
Entirely hands-on. There are no multiple choice questions: you work on a live Red Hat Enterprise Linux system and are scored on the state of the system when time runs out.
What passes
The passing score for EX200 is 210 of 300 marks.
If you do not pass
A retake costs another $500.
How long it stays valid
RHCSA is valid for 3 years from the day you pass. Valid for three years. Renew by passing the current RHCSA exam or by earning a higher Red Hat certification. RHCSA lasts three years. Renewal means passing the current exam again at full price, or earning a higher Red Hat certification, which extends it.
