Frequently asked questions
How hard is AZ-104?
AZ-104 is widely considered one of Microsoft's tougher associate exams. It expects hands-on fluency: NSG rule evaluation order, storage redundancy options, VM sizing, and RBAC scoping all appear as scenario questions.
How long should I study for AZ-104?
With Azure exposure, 6-10 weeks is typical. Without it, budget longer and get hands-on, a free Azure account plus the exam sandbox teaches what reading can't.
What's the AZ-104 passing score?
700 on a 1-1000 scale. Microsoft uses scaled scoring, so it isn't a straight 70%, harder questions are worth more.
